According to the EU EED Directive and the EnEf Act, large energy-consuming companies are required to implement a systematic energy data management system. We helped our client centralize its location master data and improve data quality. The internationally operating company was thus able to achieve ISO 50001 certification.

Data Provision from the Product Database & 1 WorldSynch by GS1

Due to the manufacturer’s decision to discontinue the PIM system, our client faced the challenge of first collecting and enriching its product data from the proprietary SAP structure and then distributing it globally to retail partners via 1WorldSynch (GS1). The flexibility and performance of the data management platform also improved the efficiency of the business units.

Introduction of a Central Data and Communications Platform

More than 1,500 members of our wholesale client’s network are using an outdated platform, and in most cases, they haven’t even gone digital. Integrating the brick-and-mortar retailer’s existing SAP-based system landscape with Amazon Seller Central requires complex customizations—particularly when it comes to synchronizing inventory data and prices in real time.

Digital transformation of traditional B2B processes and the replacement of manual workflows

Hoberg & Driesch operates in a traditional market environment, and its internal IT infrastructure is based on a classic SAP ERP system. Manual workflows are time-consuming, and product data, availability, and prices are not consistently available in digital form, which makes ordering processes prone to errors and reduces transparency for sales controlling.

Now that the data foundation has been established and operational sales processes have been digitized in the first step, this provides the perfect foundation for international sales controlling.
