Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Striking a balance between economic goals and social responsibility is an essential part of CAS AG’s identity. We encourage active employee participation in issues related to corporate social responsibility, which fosters initiative and raises awareness of environmental and social responsibility.
Social engagement has always been a priority for CAS AG. Our goal is to balance business activities with social and societal responsibility.
Through the Anja Fichte Foundation’s stake in CAS AG, a large portion of our profit distribution goes to a nonprofit organization. In this way, CAS AG supports projects such as those of the German Children’s Cancer Aid and promotes young musicians. CAS AG also strives to make a difference in society in its day-to-day operations; for example, it uses reusable glass bottles from Viva con Agua at its office locations, thereby supporting the initiative for clean drinking water in developing countries.
Through their work, every single employee at CAS AG contributes to supporting and carrying out these projects, both large and small.
For CAS AG, acting in a way that conserves resources is a strategic corporate goal. Our understanding of Green IT goes beyond IT infrastructure and hardware: At our locations, we use green electricity generated from renewable energy sources, select suppliers of office supplies and promotional materials based on established environmental criteria, and purchase our beverages through Fair Trade. Our employees are actively involved in implementing and further developing our sustainability strategy.
CAS AG participates in the Ecovadis rating annually and has had its emissions reduction targets verified by the SBTi. In addition, CAS AG has been recognized as an “Environmental Partner of Hamburg.”
