Sustainability at CAS AG
Sustainability at CAS AG
Acting responsibly toward our employees and society, combined with low-emission practices—such as the use of green electricity—has been an integral part of our corporate mission statement since 2009. We were able to further clarify this objective by developing our sustainability strategy.
Our actions are guided by the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030) and the Paris Agreement on climate change, with its 1.5-degree target.
Since 2021, we have been reporting our greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (Scopes 1, 2, and 3). We offset emissions that we are still unable to avoid despite active reduction measures (through Gold Standard-certified climate protection projects). This offsetting does not replace our reduction targets, but rather complements them. In addition, we have set a net-zero target for 2040, which was validated by the SBTi in June 2026.
Our Ecovadis Gold medals—which we have received for three consecutive years—serve to assess and evaluate our efforts in the areas of labor and human rights, environmental protection, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Our
Awards & Networks
For us, sustainability is fundamentally about taking responsibility for our impact on our employees and stakeholders, as well as on the environment. This also means taking responsibility for the needs of our partners, customers, and suppliers. For the society that we, as a company, influence both directly and indirectly.
““We firmly embed environmental and social responsibility in our business practices and are constantly evolving in this regard.””

A Wide Range of Mobility Options
We offer all employees the Deutschlandticket and the Bahncard; these are also available at a discounted rate as a Jobticket. In addition, there is a “Jobrad” program.

E-Mobility
Transition to E-Mobility
We have set a goal of transitioning our entire fleet to all-electric vehicles by 2035. To that end, we are offering our employees an ever-wider selection of electric vehicles.

Green Electricity
Use of Green Electricity
We use 100% green electricity at both of our locations. We do not operate our own data center, but the data center that hosts our internal IT systems is also powered by green electricity. In our day-to-day operations, we work on our customers’ servers.

Community Day
Establishment of a Community Day
Our employees have the opportunity to spend one workday a year volunteering for a social or environmental project.

Workplace
An Attractive Workplace
We offer flexible work schedules, remote work, and more. In addition, we offer corporate benefits and wellness programs that address both physical health (such as Wellpass and massages) and mental health (immediate telephone support and trained Mental First aid providers).
