To enhance the omnichannel capabilities of retail companies, the Hamburg-based consulting firm CAS AG and the Canadian Event Mesh platform Solace are joining forces effective immediately. The companies will pass on the synergy benefits of the new technological partnership directly to their customers.
With its many years of integration expertise and as a provider of process solutions, CAS AG offers retailers a 360-degree view of consumers and the flow of goods. Numerous leading retail companies already rely on CAS AG as their integration specialist.
With Solace’s PubSub+, retail companies benefit from an event-streaming platform that provides everything they need to design, deploy, and manage event-driven processes. Such an event mesh forwards data in a fully scalable manner to the applications that need it at any given moment—regardless of whether those applications are located in a data center, a private cloud, or a public cloud. As a result, users of this event mesh save a significant amount of effort in maintaining interfaces, as well as costs associated with licenses that are calculated based on transaction volume.
Demand for event-driven architecture in hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and IoT environments has risen sharply in recent years. In fact, there are already several large retail companies that have taken this step and are successfully using Solace’s technology. In the food retail sector in particular, the benefits of an event mesh network have been recognized due to the exceptionally high volume of transactions and data.
Through their technology partnership, CAS AG and Solace are now helping retail companies process data such as product, inventory, customer, and transaction information in real time even more efficiently, enabling shoppers to enjoy a seamless shopping experience across all of a retailer’s sales channels or to receive personalized offers in real time right on the sales floor.
The asynchronous architecture of data integration using Solace PubSub+ significantly reduces the load on retail’s core systems and substantially cuts the effort required to maintain interfaces. This allows for a significant increase in data processing performance and makes the integration of new IT solutions considerably more efficient.

That is why choosing CAS AG for the SAP OAA implementation was an easy decision. The department store chain’s IT teams were not disappointed. They were once again very satisfied with the support.
The consultants also work exceptionally well with the users, as the CAS AG team understands their perspective very well. Galeria continues to rely on the support of CAS AG to implement optimizations in the SAP CAR environment.
Galeria’s software team had already successfully completed the migration of the former Kaufhof stores to Karstadt’s software architecture in 2020, so that all of the group’s department stores are now benefiting from the new processes.
